It’s estimated that 80 million Americans have some form of cardiovascular disease, the biggest killer in the U.S. This means that one in every three adults is at risk for having a heart attack or stroke. In today’s world of modern medicine those who suffer heart attacks are more likely to survive than in the past, the downside is that they will be left with damaged hearts. Additionally, they will be much more likely to develop serious and
potentially disabling heart problems like congestive heart failure, abnormal heart rhythms or heart valve disorders. Obviously, the smart thing is to keep your heart healthy in the first place. The good news is that
research now shows that you can prevent your risk of developing heart disease by a full 80 percent. Not only that, but if you have heart disease, you can slow its progression, or even reverse it.
