Strength is a goal that is often sought after when Participating in an Exercise program.  You may be trying to develop, maintain or improve your strength through different exercises. 

Strength is simply the ability of a muscle or group of muscles to produce tension and force in one maximum effort when a specific demand is placed on it.  The muscle contraction can either be dynamic or static. Normal strength which is developed through growth is The average strength needed to participate in your daily activities. 

Many times when you have pain or an injury you lose strength. Weakness can promote additional pain. Exercises to improve strength to various muscles or muscle groups can help eliminate pain.
